Sunshines and Creeps

Sunshine to the weekend. Longest. Week. Ever.

Creep to getting sick on Sunday. And still being sick today.

Sunshine to date night with Michael on Monday. We went to Ghiradheli, Signature Lounge on the 96th floor of the Hancock Tower, and Table 52. Best Mac and Cheese EVER!

Creep to having to count in "sleeps" again, since Michael is in Las Vegas/Phoenix until Sunday. We haven't had to do that since this summer. I do not like it.

Sunshine to 2 more sleeps until Michael is back!

Sunshine to catching up with friends last night on the phone.

Sunshine to Michael's mom for helping me out and shipping some gifts to the S Family in Colorado.

Creep to not being able to work out this week because I'm sick.

Sunshine to seeing my amazing friend Lara last weekend in MSP. I love her!

Sunshine to office holiday parties yesterday and today.

Sunshine to a two-day work week next week. Then it's no work and all fun with family and friends until January 2.

Creep to Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL for not paying for my eye surgery pre-op. 4 months of fighting it got me nowhere.

Sunshine to K and Josh's wedding - two weeks from today.

Creep to my Country Christmas Pandora station. It is playing crappy music today.

Sunshine to going to look at Christmas lights tonight with Jen.

Two week hiatus

Sorry about the two week hiatus. One of my very best friends, Adam, passed away on Dec 3 so I haven't really been in a blogging mood since that time. I was in MSP last week for the funeral and the blizzard they had. Michael and I had pretty bad travel luck both ways, including the fact that we missed the wake on Thursday b/c Delta and OHare suck. I now also have an awful cold so it's been a tough few weeks.

To read more about Adam's story, please visit www.caringbridge.com/visit/adambaker. You will have to give an email address and password to read it. You can create your own or you can use mine - user name is jenni.l.glick@gmail.com and password is adambaker.

I've included a picture of us from college below. He was my date to my senior year sorority parents' formal. We remained very close over the last 5 years and I know there will not be a day that goes by that I won't think about him. He was my very best guy friend and I will never, ever stop missing him. Love you Adam!

Hilarious!

On a day like today, I really need a laugh. Thanks to one of my sorority sisters who posted this link on Facebook, I got many :-)

Happy laughing!

The rest of my Thanksgiving vacation

Hi all,

Sorry for the two part blog post but I think it would have been one long and overwhelming post if I would have done it all at once.

Wednesday, Nov 24
The day was spent mostly playing with Kaden and cards. The boys watched some TV and let us play. Thanks guys! We baked cookies in the morning to snack on throughout the day.

We were worried about the weather this day and how it could affect my dad's work schedule. Luckily, he only had to work his regular schedule so we were all happy to have him home that night. My dad - being the amazing chef he is - made us homemade meatballs (complete with ribeye steaks we ground ourselves using his meat grinder), homemade "red sauce" (it's so amazing!), pasta, and 2 kinds of garlic toast. It was DELICIOUS! As always, we drank a few bottles of our favorite wines (Pinot Noir). I love our big family meals together!

I've included some pictures from Kaden's bath time that night. My mom bought him a rubber ducky tub and though he was a little hesitant about it at first, he loved it after the first time. Ironically, Jami and Chris had the same one at home so I'm sure they will be using it at home now.

Michael, Kaden, and I. I look awful but that's what happens when you don't shower for a few days :-)

The S family

Adorable!
I found the way Kaden is sitting hilarious in this picture!

Thursday, Nov 25
Thanksgiving Day involved a lot of cooking. We had a fantastic feast that I meant to take a picture of, but forgot. Oops!

We did a late meal that night because of my dad's work schedule. While the turkey was cooking, we went over to my Grandma's to see my dad's family. Two of his sisters, their families, and his brother were home for the holidays. Our aunt Heidi had a baby boy, Henry, just a month after Kaden was born. It was fun to see them with each other and the differences between them. We also got a few family photos in.

Kaden and Henry - new friends!

My family - love them!

My family with my grandparents
Friday, Nov 26
The guys were ice fishing for most of the day, leaving the Doodles (this is the nickname my family calls ourselves) to play cards and with Kaden. Two of my aunts, one uncle, and two cousins also stopped by our house that day, which was fun.

We were "on the farm" A LOT this day! My mom bough Kaden a book that would read outloud to you and it was called On the Farm. We all had the book memorized by the end of the day. My favorite line: Green sheep! What do you say?....baaa baaa baaa....on the farm...with friends today! Um, why is the sheep green? The pig was pink. The horse was brown. Why not a white or black sheep? We never did figure that out...
Auntie and Mama playing "On the Farm" with Kaden.
It was a group effort that night for dinner, cooking three meals - egg rolls, sweet and sour shrimp, and fried rice. Everything was homemade and delicious. I love cooking with family!

P.S. My dad gave Kaden his first guitar lesson this morning. Here are some super cute pics :-)

Saturday, Nov 27
M and I made the 8 hour drive back to MSP on Sat. We had dinner with his family and crashed pretty early, since we were exhausted from our drive.

Sunday, Nov 28
M and I made the 6 hour drive back to Chicago on Sun. We had breakfast early with his family, stopped by the hospital to see Adam one last time, and then hit the road. We were back in Chicago around 7:30 and vegged before bed. I should probably unpack one of these days...

Hope my blog readers had a great Thanksgiving too!

Sorry I've been gone so long!

Hi blog readers! I'm so sorry I've been slacking in my blog writing the past 10 days or so. I went home to ND and when I'm there, I pretty much stop using most pieces of technology and just relax. It felt good to disconnect for awhile.

Anyways, I had a pretty good Thanksgiving break. Here's a recap of the first half of the week (I'll post the rest another day - otherwise this would be WAY too long).

Saturday, Nov 20
I worked in the morning for my University's football game. We usually do not host home tailgates parties but because this game was being played at Wrigley Field, it was a big deal. My job was to work in the 250 ft alumni tent. There were TVs with sound, bars, and most importantly, heaters. I spent 3 hours handing out pompons and signs. The number of people there was insane and it was a lot of fun.

College Game Day was on hand and Michael got up at 3am and went. He was exhausted later that day but he said he had a great time. On Sunday night, my parents and I watched CGD with him and he pointed himself out on TV a few times, which was fun.

Fans waiting in line for College Game Day. The gates opened around 5am.

Wrigley painted their sign purple for us!

Tent - before people started arriving.

Me and some of my cowokers with the Coach Fitz bobblehead.

This picture is from when the team walked through the tent. Lots of people!

Game picture. Pretty awesome if you ask me!
At noon, Michael and I left to start our trip home for Thanksgiving. We made it to MSP in good time because I drive fast and headed to the hospital to visit Adam. If you didn't know, he's been moved to hospice care. I was thankful I was able to spend some time with him that night.

Sunday, Nov 21
Michael and I woke up early to hit the road, only to find out that MSP had been hit with a pretty nasty ice storm the night before. We decided to wait a few hours before we hit the road, which was a good idea. We saw a total of 12 cars in the ditch during our drive to ND. One of them I later learned turned out to involve a fatality, which is so sad.

We stopped in GF to hit up the bookstore to buy the S family some Sioux goodies. We also stopped at The Red Pepper, a dive in GF that drunk college students love. We were home around 6pm and I lost the bet for the temperature. I said 6 degrees; Michael said 4. It was 1.

Monday, Nov 22
Monday was spent projecting and baking. Michael and I made bon bons, one of my favorite holiday treats and worked on fixing the high chair and crib for sweet little Kaden. My dad made a delicious beef barley soup before leaving for work and we enjoyed that for lunch and dinner that night.

Tuesday, Nov 23
In the morning, we ran errands with my mom before coming home to clean and bake to prepare for the rest of our guests. The projected storm didn't stop either of my sisters from making it home, which was great because my family often has awful travel luck. Jessi was home by 5 and the S family landed at 10pm. Since my dad works at the airport, we were able to meet them at the gate, which was a fun surprise for them.

Look for the rest of the recap (with pics) soon!

Sunshines and Creeps

Before I launch into my Sunshines and Creeps, I hope that everyone will do me this favor: please keep my amazing friend Adam in your thoughts and prayers. He will not be with us much longer. Thank you.

Creep to bad things happening to good people.

Sunshine to seeing my entire family in four days.

Creep to my freezing cold office.

Creep to driving in Chicago. My road rage has reached a new level.

Sunshine to getting new carpet in my office but Creep for having to pack up everything for that to happen. At least they are doing it while I'm gone.

Sunshine to yoga tonight. I am hoping it helps me relax.

Creep to Illinois Masonic Hospital. I really hate your billing department.

Sunshine to being asked to be a bridesmaid in my Girlfriend Johanne's wedding.

Sunshine to Adam. Love you!

Lady Antebellum Concert Tonight

Tonight Michael and I are going to a Lady Antebellum concert. I have been looking forward to this for months so I'm very, very excited. I love country music and haven't been to a country conert in 4 years. Enjoy one of my favorite songs below :-)

Not so smiley

I don't know what my problem is lately but I have had two total meltdowns in the past few days. Maybe it's b/c I haven't cried in awhile but I am losing it lately. I need it to be this Saturday. FAST!

Weekend was fine - went to yoga Friday night, Spin and spent the day with Michael and his family on Saturday, and spent Sunday doing laundry, watching football, catching up with friends, and more yoga. Can you tell I'm a little obsessed at the moment.

The countdown is on - only 6 more days until I'm home. It cannot come fast enough.

Sunshines and Creeps

Finally a week full of sunshines and just a few creeps :-)

Sunshine to Friday - I'm ready for it to be the weekend!

Sunshine to Michael's parents and sister visiting this weekend.

Creep to both Michael and I not feeling well the last few days. Last night, he said "I hope I don't have mono." Yeah, you better not have mono!

Sunshine to being good about working out this week. Now I just need to keep it up!

Sunshine to yoga tonight and Spin tomorrow. I need to stretch and sweat.

Sunshine to my countdowns: 9 days until I'm home for Thanksgiving, 42 days until Christmas, and 230 until July 1 (day I hope to be in MSP by).

Creep to still not knowing my work schedule for next Saturday.

Creep to my poor sleeping habits this week. Daylight savings time screwed me up.

Sunshine to skyping with my sister and my adorable nephew Kaden last night. He is SOOOOOO cute! I can't wait to see him (and everyone else!) for Thanksgiving.

Sunshine to my phone date with my GF Johanne last night. It was great to catch up!

Creep to the nasty cut on my thumb from slicing a bagel on Monday. It still hurts.

Sunshine to the amazing weather we have had in Chicago the last few weeks. What a gorgeous fall!

Sunshine to my first invitation to a holiday party. I love the holiday season.

Sunshine to my Grandma's homemade pizza recipe. YUM!

Sunshine to the flowers I got yesterday from Michael "because it's Thursday." Best. Partner. Ever.

Happy weekend everyone!

November 11 = many things to me

Today is Veterans Day. Thank you to all those who serve and have served our country. Today is the day we honor you for preserving and protecting our freedom.
I loved Google's image today so I had to share.
Today is also the founding date of my sorority, Gamma Phi Beta. On this day in 1874, my sorority was founded in Syracuse, New York, by four courageous women: Helen M. Dodge, Frances E. Haven, E. Adeline Curtis and Mary A. Bingham. Thank you, Founders, for believing in the power of women helping other women achieve their potential.
These are Gamma Phi Beta's founders. Obviously, this picture is not from 1874.
Finally. today is the day last year I found out that I got my job. I am very thankful for this job, the opportunities it has afforded to me, and the professional growth it has given me over the past year. Of course, every job has its bad days, but for the most part, I do genuinely enjoy what I do.

Me, Stephanie, and Bobby

So a few weeks ago, I wrote about how I met the amazing Stephanie March (Alex Cabot on Law and Order: SVU) and her hubby, Bobby Flay. My friend Katie finally sent me our photo so I had to share it with you!

This is my first picture with celebrities :-)

Recap on Tuesday

With work keeping me busy late last week and being off (yay comp time!), I've been slacking on my blogging the last few days. Sorry blog readers! Here's a recap of my last few days:

Friday
  • Flew to Philadelphia, then drove to State College for work. Longest drive ever. But it was pretty. PAwas much more mountainous than I was expecting.
  • Got to hang out with Caitlin, one my amazing former students. She is in grad school at BG in the same program I was. I miss her and am so glad we have remained good friends. It was great to catch up!
Saturday
  • Hosted the tailgate party for alumni and friends before the football game. We had a great turnout - more than 250 people! - and it was a lot of fun. I worked registration and got slammed at the beginning of the event, but overall, it went really well.
  • As soon as the tailgate ended, we (me, my supervisor, and my supervisor's supervisor) left because we had a flight to catch home. We listened to the game in the car. It was depressing from the last minute of the 2nd quarter on. This drive was an hour faster - thank God!
  • Landed in Chicago 40 minutes early. And Michael was already at the airport waiting for me. Best partner ever :-)
Sunday
  • Woke up early, feeling really well rested. Thank you Daylight Savings Time!
  • Spent the day with my LOML - since we haven't had a weekend day together in awhile, it was great to spend time together.
  • Went to Target and the grocery store. Our most exciting purchase was a parmesan cheese grater. I got some European parm from my aunt Maria when she was visiting in Sept but hadn't used it yet because I didn't have a grater. Now I do and it is awesome.
  • Caught up on Hawaii Five-0 episodes and watched football.
  • Skyped with Jami, Chris, and Kaden. I'm so excited to see them two weeks from today!
  • Michael and I made homemade lasagna for the first time. It was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! We need to make it more often.
Monday
  • Woke up early to say goodbye to Michael.
  • Went to Yoga Sculpt for the first time. Got my butt kicked. I have never been that sweaty in my entire life. Kristen - now I know what you were talking about! Sweat was literally pouring off of me. I am sore today, but it was good and I am excited to go again.
  • Caught up on DVRed shows from last week.
  • Finish laundry and errands.
  • Didn't feel all that well so Michael and I scrapped our plans for homemade pizza (will do Thurs on Date Night) and had soup instead.
Not much exciting happened to me over the weekend. This week I have some plans with coworkers and Date Night on Thursday. And two weeks from today, my family will all be together in ND so that's exciting. Is it Thanksgiving yet?!

Is it too early for Christmas?!

Ok, so it's not quite Christmas, but it is November now, and before I know it, it will be December. And that means it's definitely almost Christmas. Can you tell I'm excited?!

Anyways, I started my Christmas shopping yesterday. Today, I decided that it's time to start listening to Christmas music. Thank you Pandora!

What are you most excited about for the upcoming holidays? Only 50 days until Christmas Eve!

K's Bachelorette Party

Last weekend, I was in Fargo for Kristen's (otherwise known as K to me, especially when I've consumed a few drinks) bachelorette party. Not only is Kristen my "longest friend," she is also one of my very best friends. See my posting about Kristen on her birthday to learn more about our friendship.

Anyways, I flew into MSP on Friday night and stayed with Michelle (M - apparently I like to shorten names) that night. Despite getting a tad lost on Saturday morning leaving the city (who knew that 394 doesn't meet up with 94?) and getting pulled over outside of Alexandria for speeding (I was only going 75 in a 70 - luckily, I got a warning - thank you Officer Nice Guy!), we made it to Fargo in one piece.

The party was hosted by her maid of honor Michaela (little sister) and matron of honor Jen (Kristen's BFF). We stayed at a hotel downtown so no one would have to drive. The night started off with some drinks and catching up, since most of us hadn't seen each other in awhile. Then we watched Kristen open gifts and there was some "entertainment." (The entertainment was not a stripper - Kristen's mom, future M-I-L, and 12 year old cousin were there and we would never have put Kristen in a situation that would make her uncomfortable or upset.). We then finished up opening gifts before heading to dinner.

Opening some of her gifts. P.S. Doesn't K look hot!? I loved her dress!

Some of the party-goers watching K opening gifts.

My favorite gift from our friend Steph. SO CUTE!

From K's mom for her honeymoon. It was part of a series of gifts for each night of her honeymoon, and each gift was more conservative than the last. Hilarious!

Brookee and me

K, Steph, M, and Shanna

We then went to dinner. While the food was good, our service was not the best. Half of the table (me, Michelle, Steph, Brooke, and K's aunt and cousin) had the "good server" and everyone else had the "bad server." And she was awful! But we didn't let that ruin the night and we took this picture before we left.

Not the best picture but at least everyone is in it!
After that, we went to a bar known for it's martinis. And let me tell you, they were yummy! And I don't even like hard alcohol that much. There was also excellent people watching both inside and outside the bar. Here a few pictures from that bar.

Cheers!

This is a group of about 15 Oompa Loompas. They did the Oompa Loompa dance outside the bar windows. It was great!
We tried to go to another bar after that, but it was so pack because it was Halloween. We couldn't even get a drink so we went back to the hotel bar, where we sat around laughing, telling stories, and drinks Caesars (only in ND - love it!). At 1:00, we called it a night. Sunday morning, most of us went out for a yummy brunch before we all went our separate ways.

I got two new pictures with Kristen, which we definitely needed, seeing that our last picture taken together just us is more than two years old.

It was a great weekend and I am so glad I was able to attend. I am very excited to stand up as a bridesmaid for Kristen at her wedding in less than two months!!

Sunshines and Creeps

Sunshine to spending the weekend with my best friends from college this weekend!

Sunshine to the reason we are having a girls weekend: Kristen's Bachelorette Party!

Creep to wearing my winter coat this week. I was really hoping to make it to November without wearing it.

Sunshine to The Lion King. I loved it!

Creep to the Big Ten for not picking the football kick times for next weekend's games yet. I just want to know what our time is so I know if I can come back Saturday night or Sunday morning (hoping for Saturday). And our plane tickets to Penn State are going to be expensive!

Creep to falling off the work out bandwagon this week. I guess two days is better than zero days, but I still need to do better.

Sunshine to booking plane tickets for a trip to MSP in January for the Diamond Awards (Michael's mom is the chair of the event) and Colorado in February for a skiing trip with Jami and Chris.

Creep to not talking to my mom that much this week. It's my fault and I miss her!

Sunshine to a week off of work for Thanksgiving in 23 days! So excited to spend time with my entire family!

Sunshine to getting 10 hours of sleep on Monday night. Fell asleep on top of the covers, lights and TV on at 8pm. Apparently I was tired.

Creep to eating almost an entire 5 lbs bag of Tootsie Rolls myself. I love Tootsie Rolls (obviously), but I cannot stop eating them, and that's not good when I'm not working out.

Sunshine to Michael for being an amazing partner. I love you!

Hooray for Friday (and Hooray for Jasper - inside joke with my sister Jessi :-) )!

The Lion King

Last night, Michael and I went to The Lion King. It was AMAZING! I cannot even describe to you how cool the costumes were. I've included some pictures below to show off the amazing design of them. The lighting was also fantastic. I never really understood the importance of lighting for a show until watching The Lion King. They played with it so well and it really brought out the story.

What I think was most impressive part is the actors: they are not only actors, but also puppeteers, singers, and dancers.

It was simply an amazing show and I encourage anyone who has the opportunity to see it to do so - you will not be disappointed.

In this picture (clockwise from top left) are Mufasa, Simba, Rafiki, dancers, and Timone and Pumba.
Google images.

Rafiki.

End of opening scene. I loved the cheetah (lower center left).

I know it seems weird that Timone was a green man, but I honestly never looked at actor. Just the puppet he was controlling. It was so cool.
Google Images.
Scar (left) was probably my favorite character in the show. His mask sat on top of his head but he could move it down, as pictured in this photo, to appear to be almost charging at other characters. It was awesome!!!

Happy Monday?

Is there such a thing as a Happy Monday? I really wonder because my dad didn't get off to the best start. However, I had a great weekend and I wanted to share it with you.

Friday
This week was Homecoming at the unviersity I work at so I had a lot of work to do last week. On Friday night, I spent the evening helping out at the parade. I was not in a good mood on Friday night (sorry Michael!) but at least working the parade was fun because I met a celebrity couple. Our grand marshall for the parade was alum Stephanie March, best known for her Alex Cabot on Law and Order: SVU.

She is beautiful!!!

And she's married to the famous chef, Bobby Flay, best known for all his shows on the Food Network like Throwdown and Iron Chef.

I've heard that he can be kind of mean but he was really nice!
They were both really nice - seriously, I wish Stephanie was my friend - and I hung out with them at my office before escorting them over to the parade start. One of my coworkers took a picture with me and them so I'll post it once she's sends it to me.

The parade itself was your typical college Homecoming parade: lots of floats, fun, and drunken students. Some of the floats freaked me out - one group literally had 40 people in/on a Hum-Vee - but some of them were great. It was a fun and quick parade. After the parade, I was able to hang out with Michael and his dad before I went home to crash, since I had to be back to work so early on Saturday morning.

Saturday
Saturday was a really long, but really fun, day. I was up and back to work early that morning, working the Reunions Tailgate party for the football game. The university I work at does Reunion parties during Homecoming to capitalize on all the people back for the weekend. They do them for each 5 year increment from 5-50 years. My job at the tailgate was to take everyone's tickets and stamp their hand. We had more than 1000 people attend and it was actually pretty fun.

I watched the football game with Michael, his dad, and his sister, and it was a huge bummer that we lost. After the game, we went shopping on North Ave near my apt and then off to dinner at Mon Ami Gabi. It was yummy and we tried a new Pinot that I actually really liked. It's called Hob Nob and from my Internet research, I've discovered that it is cheap, which is always fun.

That night, I took Michael to my friends Becky and JB's "fancy party." It was a wine party so everyone was asked dress their best and bring a bottle of wine. We then each presented our bottles with a story about the grapes, why you bought it, etc and did a tasting for everyone. It was really, really fun and I am so glad I brought Michael. Everyone loved him and could tell how happy I am with him in my life. He had a great time and I am so glad he was able to meet my Chicago friends. Also, I found out that some of them are possibly moving to MSP in the future so that was really exciting. Overall, Saturday was a great day!

Sunday
Sunday morning, I woke up early (no surprise there) so I read the paper while Michael slept in for a bit. Then we met his dad and sister for Brunch - yummy - before I went home and Michael did some work. I ran to the grocery story to get stuff for dinner that night and then came home to clean, do laundry, and start dinner.

We made beef tips and garlic mashed potatoes as we watched the Vikings/Packers game. OMG - it was so good! And it's the easiest dinner ever so I love that too. I just wish it was a little friendlier on my debit card :-) I was super tired when we finished dinner. So tired in fact that I fell asleep on Michael's shoulder for most of the 4th quarter. And I usually cannot fall asleep with a TV on. So yeah, exhausted pretty much sums it up.

I hope everyone else had a great weekend too!

Sunshines and Creeps

This week was one of those weeks where I had far too many Creeps. I like the weeks that are full of Sunshines! Ugh – thank goodness it’s Friday!!!

Creep to working last night (until 10), Friday night (until 10) and Saturday morning (at 8:30). I would like my life back please.

Sunshine to the fact that last night’s work event was at least somewhat entertaining (presentation and reveal of a time capsule from the 1970s, made by 20 year old men = hilarious!).

Creep to all-of-the sudden developing heartburn. It hurts and I can’t get it to go away.

Sunshine to spending time with Michael’s dad and sister this weekend.

Creep to sucking at sleeping again lately. I thought I was over this.

Creep to the total darkness I wake up to everyday now. It makes it really hard to get out of bed.

Sunshine to telling my Chicago friends about me and Michael, and for their support and excitement about us. I truly have great friends!

Sunshine to my friends Becky and JB’s “fancy party” Saturday night. I'm bring Michael (hence me telling them about us) and I know it’s going to be so fun.

Creep to getting a parking ticket on Thursday. The only stupid reason I drove to work was because I have to work some stupid event that night, which I found out about on Wednesday. GRR! (Btw – When I got this yesterday and was screaming about it to my coworkers, I was using a different word besides “stupid”).

Sunshine to my Girlfriend Johanne and her recent engagement to Jason. I am so thrilled they are engaged and I am excited to hear the details as they start planning their wedding.

Creep to all the road construction in Evanston. It seriously is RIGHT out my window and is super distracting. All I hear is jackhammers and “beep, beep, beep” when machines back up. And my computer screen keeps shaking. And there is no parking because of it. UGH!

Sunshine to work *hopefully* slowing down next week, and possibly even until the end of the quarter. As my friend Adam would say, that would be nice.

Speaking of Adam, Sunshine to talking to Laurie this week. Though there wasn't much of an update, it's always good to hear from her about Adam's current condition and any progress. She is so strong and I am thankful that Adam has her love and support everyday, since I can't visit him all that often.

Creep to my recent book selections. I need a feel-good book with no cheating/deaths/plane crashes/abuse. Any suggestions?

Sunshine to fun things next week: Lion King, seeing my besties, and celebrating at Kristen’s bachelorette party.

Creep to my office being so cold. Here is a list of my current attire: socks and tennis shoes with gray dress slacks (my feet were too cold in flats); a t-shirt; a long sleeve cotton pullover shirt; a fleece; and a fleece over my lap as a blanket. And I still freezing!

Sunshine to hitting the gym several times this week, but Creep to not being able to go Thurs-Sat because of work.

Sunshine for getting approval for vacation time around Thanksgiving, Christmas/NY, and late January for the Diamond Awards.

I hope next week's post will have more Sunshines and fewer Creeps! Have a great weekend!
