Sunshines and Creeps

Sunshine to Friday. I love weekends!

Creep to working tomorrow. I have to work 4 of 5 weekends in December :-(

Creep to another wedding nightmare this week. I've been married for almost three months - one would think I wouldn't have these dreams anymore!

Sunshine to girls night this week.

Creep to all the hours Michael has worked this week. One night he got home at 10:45 pm. I hope he can rest up over the weekend.

Sunshine to starting our Advent Calendar activities tomorrow.

Sunshine to hopefully getting our Christmas shopping done this weekend.

Creep  to sucking at working out this week.

Sunshine to finishing Season 4 of Damages. Love that show and cannot wait until Amazon Instant Video uploads season 5. Next up on my watch list: Parenthood.

Creep to my poor management of my library holds. I currently have 8 books at home, four that are due in 3 weeks and I have been wanting to read for months.

Sunshine to the fact that the first thing Michael says to me every morning when we wake up is "I love you." I love you too, honey :-)

Wedding Wednesday: Ceremony Photos

Ceremony time! Michael and I spent the hour before the ceremony together, even taking a private moment together toward the end to calm our nerves. Then we said good-bye and he headed out with the boys while I waited my turn. Here are some pictures from the processional.

I told my sister she could do whatever she wanted with her kids – send both with Chris, keep both with her, etc. They opted to send Kaden with Chris, as he was sort of overwhelmed by all the people so he was carried down the aisle watching Mickey Mouse on Daddy’s iPhone.

Super sweet picture of Michael's nana with two of her grandsons.

It was a little cool because of the wind so Jami asked if could carry a blanket too. Of course I said yes and Kynleigh was perfect throughout the ceremony.

When it was my turn, I was so excited and was smiling. Then the guests stood up. And I ugly-cried. Well, half-ugly-cried.

Still smiling...

Then crying...

Ugly cry...oh well...

Our moms did the readings.

I was surprised I didn’t cry during our vows. Instead, I found myself laughing, smiling, and so incredibly happy that I didn’t even think about crying. In fact, you’ll see we laughed a lot.

Some of my fam
I love Kristie on the left in this picture :-)

Then we did our wine ceremony. The box is now on the bookshelf in our living room.

Then we hugged our parents.

And then it was over. Time for the big kiss!

Next week, we’ll dive into the reception photos – some of my VERY favorites that really captured the joy of the day. Sharing all of those is going to take me a few weeks  :-)
