Creep to a bad week.

Creep to sleeping horribly and getting sick this week.

Creep to not being able to find my sunglasses. I have no idea where they are, and I am afraid I lost them :-(

Creep to having to cancel girls night. At least I just saw everyone last weekend at my Miss America party, which is definitely Sunshine-worthy.

Sunshine to the Miss America program for crowning it's first Asian-American Miss America. Though she wasn't my pick (I was pulling for OK or MN), I think she will be an excellent Miss America.

Sunshine to the tent sale at Hoigaards tonight. I'm only looking for one thing, but I'm sure we'll walk away with more. Maybe some new sunglasses...

Sunshine to Winnie for being such a good girl yesterday when we left her out of her kennel. Michael went home at lunch and decided to see how it would go if he left her out. I got home four hours later and she had been a doll - no accidents and nothing was destroyed! Yay Winnie!

But Creep to 10 minutes later, when she pooped on my bedroom floor. Bad Winnie...

Sunshine to lots of family visiting visiting this weekend: parents, Jessi, grandma and aunt Maria from Austria.

Creep that Michael is out of town when everyone is visiting. He's going to Seattle for a concert with friends.

Sunshine to the Hoigaard's (local sporting good store) yearly "Tent Sale" being next weekend. I thought it was this weekend and since Michael is gone, I wasn't planning to go. But since it's next weekend, we can! They have amazing markdowns on last year's stuff and I got my skis there last year.

Sunshine to Winnie's playdate with our neighbor's 95 lbs golden retriever. Creep  hat he might be moving soon. They had so much fun!

Creep to Winnie peeing on the couch last night. I was literally 6 inches from her while we were playing and she just squatted. Little rascal!

Sunshine to all the wedding anniversaries this week: Ours on the 8th; Jami and Chris on the 11th; and Chad and Michelle today.

Sunshine to the BOGO sale at Lund's and Byerly's this week. My favorite dessert indulgence was BOGO. YUM!

Sunshine to getting Winnie a new kennel. I think (and hope) she will love it once we get it set up.

Creep to lots of late nights for Michael this week. I feel like I hardly got to see him.

Sunshine to my annual Miss America party on Sunday. My Girls Night friends and their hubbys/soon-to-be-hubbies are coming over for it. I appreciate that they humor me in my obsession every year.

Creep to one of my diamonds falling out of my wedding band. I've been wearing for only a year. I know we'll get it fixed but I'm still sad about this...

Creep to my horrible headache this week. I think it's finally gone.

Creep to running in the rain this morning. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't fun either.

Sunshine to Winnie's last puppy visit to the vet. But Creep to the cost AND scheduling her spaying date, which will be another few hundred dollars. I love my girl but she is expensive!

Sunshine to not having to run Reunion Weekend this year. Creep that it is this weekend. At least I only have to work tonight and not the whole weekend.

Creep to not attending my friend Lara's bridal shower tomorrow because I'll be out of town.

Sunshine to our time at the MN State Fair. We were there for 65 minutes (Monday - it was HOT!!!!) and ate a bunch of yummy stuff: chocolate malt, MN Wine (bad :-( ), corn, cheese curds (the best!), an Italian stuffed sausage, and Martha's cookies. I probably ate a week's worth of calories in 65 short minutes, and that's totally ok with me.

Sunshine to the weekend! This week seemed to take forever.

Sunshine to going to bed last night at 8:51pm. This was largely because I was super tired from this week, but the half bottle of wine I drank at my mother-in-law's birthday dinner probably helped too :-)

Sunshine to Winnie's walking skills this week. She's been much better!

Creep to Winnie being a naughty girl this week. Her latest naughty thing: peeing on the couch. WTF Winnie?!

Creep to my very cold office. It's 90 degrees outside but I've been sitting inside wearing a fleece jacket all week.

Sunshine to cooking one of my favorite meals tomorrow: homemade ravioli. We haven't made it since March and it is always satisfying.

Sunshine to getting floor tickets to the Brad Paisley concert in November.

Creep to my to-do list at work this week. I spent the whole week looking at lists in Excel and my mind feels like it's going to explode.

Creep to the number of mistakes I've discovered this week in our database. These are major mistakes; not just little things. Yesterday, I literally found 45.

Sunshine to going to the MN State Fair on Monday. I cannot wait to eat a million calories.

Sunshine to lunch starting again at my school this week. It is so nice not to pack a lunch everyday.

Sunshine to our first Couples Weekend at the cabin. 10 adults, 3 dogs. It's going to be awesome!

Sunshine to my longest friend Kristen and her new little lady Sloane Elizabeth, born Wednesday. Cannot wait to meet her!

Creep to insane days at work. I could work 12 hours days and still never finish.

Creep to insane nights "at home." I use at home loosely because we were really not home at all this week. We had something every night, which made prepping for this weekend tough.

Sunshine to a fun wine tasting event at our favorite wine store on Wednesday. The timing was bad but it was fun.

Creep to Molly, Michael's sister, going back to college. I'll miss her, and I'll miss her help with Winnie.

Sunshine to getting some runs in this week. Must get back into this!

Creep to having to go to four stores to get everything I needed for this weekend.

Sunshines and Creeps

Creep to working on Fridays again. I get so spoiled in the summer having Fridays off for 6 weeks so I know it's rude of me to complain. But it's hard to not :-) Back to regular work weeks now - wah wah.

Sunshine to my boss loving dogs and letting me bring Winnie to work yesterday so I wouldn't have to go home at lunch for the 4th day in a row. Other than a few accidents, Winnie did pretty well.

Sunshine to having an office! It's really nice to have a door to close. And yesterday, when I had Winnie at work, it was really nice that she didn't have to be in her kennel all day. I let her roam for a few hours in the afternoon and didn't have to worry about her.

Creep to Winnie's "teenage" years. At least that's what our behavioralist at puppy class calls this current time. She's being so naughty - peeing by the door instead of outside, biting everything, whining when we eat (I may have eaten dinner in the car last night to avoid this - what a loser!), and jumping on the dining room chairs, even when I put boxes there to try to deter her). This morning I left her  in the kitchen for literally 20 seconds, and when I came back, she was on the table! Why the face, Winnie?!

Sunshine to Winnie still being super sweet most of the time. My favorite time is when I open her kennel. She crawls onto my lap and rolls on back so she's lying on me like I am holding a baby. Then I give her tummy rubs. She LOVES it.

Creep that Michael is gone so it's just me and Winnie Wed-Sun. He's camping with friends, and I'm so glad he went, but I miss him.

Sunshine to going to the cabin this weekend with Michael's parents and sister. Creep  hat Michael isn't with us. This is the first time I've ever gone to the cabin without him.

Sunshine to a surprise birthday happy hour last night for my friend JB. No one blew the surprise and I could tell  Everyone in our group but Michael was there and it was great to catch up with everyone.

Sunshine to the book I'm reading right now: The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult. I have been staying up WAY to late the last two nights reading it but I cannot put it down. Even though most of it is historical fiction regarding the Holocaust, it is fascinating, heart-breaking, horrific, and so very important for the world to know. I highly recommend it and I'm still 100 pages for the end.

Creep to feeling unmotivated/not having the time to workout. At least I'm going on a walk tonight with Michael's mom, Toby, and Winnie.

Creep to feeling overwhelmed at work. How I am going to get everything done on schedule is beyond me.

Sunshine to a week of vacation. Creep that I did not accomplish hardly anything on my to-do list.

Sunshine to spending to some QT with Winnie. I love that girl!

Sunshine and Creep to getting Winnie groomed yesterday. The scruffy little pup needed it SO badly, but now that she's stripped and clipped, she looks so grown up, and I miss my scruffy little pup.

Creep to Winnie's illness this week. She had to take some dewormer medicine in the form of powder and since she is not food motivated at all, the vet recommended we give her wet food. She had diarrhea yesterday so I suggested to Michael we not lock her kennel. We woke up to diarrhea (in 2 spots), vomit, and pee all over the kitchen floor this morning at 5am. Poor baby! But she walked and played this morning so I'm hoping it's passed now (she's currently zonked out on my lap).

Sunshine to dogsitting Toby so Winnie has someone to play with all weekend.

Creep to not following through my menu plan this week.

Sunshine to a long weekend with the S family at the cabin. And Jessi and my parents are coming on Saturday. Should be lots of fun!

Creep to being so busy at work. I have a ton to do next week before I'm out the week after for a week of vacation.

Sunshine to my new office being under construction. I've been relocated to our business office and I have to say, I kind of like it over here. I'm in the corner and everyone is pretty quiet. It's nice! I am so excited to have a space that is my own and I can shut the door. I haven't had my own office in 4 years (I shared an office at the NAA too) so this will be awesome!

Creep to being totally unmotivated to workout this week. We do plan to swim at the cabin this weekend though.

Creep to not having enough time in the day. This week felt so hectic and I just wish I had more time. I went grocery shopping last night at 9:15pm for Pete's sake!

Sunshine to a puppy play date today with Roxie. And of course Sunshine that Roxie's mom and my bestie Michelle was there too.

Creep to Winnie's "crazy puppy" phases every night this week from 7-8pm. She's otherwise a sweetie but from 7-8pm, she's a nut job (I still love her though!).

Sunshine to puppy class this week. More of a recap later with some pics and videos. Winnie loved the first class so here's to hoping for 4 more positive weeks.

Sunshine to watching ESPN's Nine for IX, a series on girls/women/situations in sports since the introduction of Title IX. I did a report on Title IX in high school and am a huge supporter of girl's/women's sports. I just watched the documentary on my women's sports idol, Pat Summit, and it was awesome.

Sunshine to going to Chicago with Michael for the first time since we moved. We cannot wait to be back in the city where we met and fell in love.

Sunshine to some good workouts this week. Creep to waking up at 4:45am today to go to spin class.

Sunshine to a productive work retreat this week. I will be very busy this summer. Thank goodness that the person we hired for my job starts on June 17!

Sunshine to a short work week. In fact, I have a short week (I'm counting half days the next two Fridays) every week from now until the second week of August.

Creep to the random weather this week. Really cold days, then super humid days, followed by stormy days.

Sunshine to some good workouts this week.

Creep that the Thursday 5am spin classes was cancelled, but we didn't know that. We ended up spinning on our own instead, which Michael finds incredibly boring (I find it just fine).

Sunshine to my spray tan from last week still going strong.

Creep to Costco. I don't think we can go there and spend less than $200, and we always end up with something "big" that wasn't on our list.

Sunshine to getting the new Dan Brown book at the library already. I was 300 of 1200 requests and even though it came out a few weeks ago, I already have my copy.

Sunshine to FINALLY hiring someone for my old job. I’m going to jump on a pedestal right now because I am the one who found her (just call me a recruiter) and had I not done that, who knows when we would have hired someone for the job. Plus I think she’s going to be fantastic. June 17th cannot come soon enough!

Sunshine to good workouts this week, including yoga on Monday. That felt amazing!

Creep to constantly eating. That is likely related to the workouts but I need to do better with my snacking.

Sunshine to finding out about a practice session opportunity for our tri. It's a guided tour of the actual bike course, which will be so helpful for Michael and I since we've never done this before.

Sunshine to Michael making dinner for me last night. Even when I got home late from work and could help, he insisted on doing it himself (I couldn't cross "the line" in the kitchen). It was very sweet of him.

Sunshine to having lunch with a friend in my professional field. We used to be counterparts when I had my alumni job but she has a new job now too. It was really great to see her and catch up.

Sunshine to talking wedding stuff with that friend. I had sort of forgotten had much fun I had doing it all. But I do not miss the amount of time it took!

Creep to phone tag with Kristen this week. We will connect soon, I hope!

Sunshine to last night's series finale of The Office. I love that show and thought the finale was perfect.

Sunshine to all the yard and garden work we've done lately. We spent all of last weekend working outside and the yard looks so much better. We also planted our garden: tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, parsley, sage, basil, thyme, cilantro, peppers, and a bunch of flowers, including three dahlias this year. I LOVE dahlias!

Creep to the weather - rainy. We are supposed to go to the Twins game tonight.

Sunshine to going to the cabin tomorrow. We have lots to do - cleaning, yard work, etc. but once we get it done, we won't have to do much more this season. Woohoo!

Creep to being a bad blogger lately.

Sunshine to a good week of training for the tri. We did a long run on Tuesday night that actually felt really good. And Michael didn't like my swim workout ("not hard enough") so I upped it today and it was actually really good. Darn him for knowing what he's talking about.

Creep to the cold weather last night so our tented event had to be moved indoors.

Sunshine to a historic vote in the MN House yesterday. We are so close to equality for all couples who want to commit to a life partnership!

Sunshine to my marriage. It was 8 months this week, though I have to say it feels like longer.

Sunshine to me for swimming without Michael today (still has stitches). That is my first-ever lap swim alone. Luckily, the pool was quiet so I had my own lane. It was really boring but I did it.

Sunshine to some possible candidates for my job. It's been six months since I accepted. We NEED to find someone. Like three months ago...

I was having a good day until 5 minutes ago...

Creep to one of my coworkers acting completely unprofessional today. She's worked here for a month and is probably mid-50s. She totally went off on me. Yelling at me about something I didn't do and have no control over was extremely inappropriate, unprofessional and awkward.In her defense, I think she just needed to take our her frustrations out on someone and it happened to me. And again, I had nothing to do with it. My day is ruined.

Sunshine to a short work week because I was serving as Michael's "responsible adult" after his surgery.

Creep to fainting when I saw Michael's hand out of the bandage for the first time. That's never happened to me before.

Sunshine to getting a temp in to help me do my old job. It's not ideal but at least I don't have to do it all myself anymore.

Creep to having to spend a lot of time teaching the temp what to do. And not catching a screw up she did today. Oh well...

Sunshine to dinner with Chad and Michelle tonight.

Sunshine to FINALLY having some nice weather. So excited to spend some time outside this weekend!!

Sunshine to yoga last Sunday. It was a really low-key class but it was so nice to just stretch and relax.

Sunshine to making the best buttermilk pancakes ever last weekend. SO AMAZING! We're making them again this weekend.

Sunshine to my work event for tonight getting canceled. Remember those invitations I wanted to get out the door so badly. Well, the couple (they are 91 and 95 years old) are actually not doing so well health-wise right now and they asked us to cancel it. Given the weather, I am glad we did. But Creep to their ailing health.

Sunshine to a three day weekend. I have Monday off b/c Michael is having surgery on his wrist. It will be a busy Monday but at least I don't have to work.

Sunshine to our menu plan for the weekend. Homemade pasta, new buffalo chicken recipe, and yummy breakfasts. My mouth is watering!

Creep to my boss not going to bat for me this week with a donor. Grr.
